Sam Zito 

Director of Family Services

Sam Zito is the Director of Family Services at Camp Harbor View.  Sam comes to CHV by way of United Way Mass Bay and spent the last nine years with the organization. Most recently as Vice President of Youth & Young Adult Pathways at UWMB, Sam led community impact work focused on supporting opportunity youth through grant making, programs, and collective impact. Sam oversaw the implementation of Boston’s plan to prevent and end youth and young adult homelessness, in partnership with the City of Boston’s Mayor’s Office of Housing and Office of Human Services, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders. 

Sam is passionate about building programs and systems that are asset-based, community driven, and equitable. She is excited to partner with CHV families to reimagine family services to ensure CHV is a place of opportunity for young people AND their families.

As a skilled communicator, she is able to build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals. She is committed to making a difference in the lives of young people and is a valuable asset to any team.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in sociology, and Masters of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
