When families are healthy and supported, young people thrive. At Camp Harbor View, we believe that the best way to invest in tomorrow’s leaders is to ensure that all household essential needs are met and that every door of opportunity is open. Our Youth and Family Support team offers holistic youth and family services to every participant in our summer camp and year-round Leadership Academy. Services range based on program participation and can include individual and group therapy, coordination of food, housing, and education among other services.

In collaboration with About Fresh, we partner with hundreds of families experiencing food insecurity. This pilot program aims to address the needs of families by either delivering or offering access to fresh produce through the Fresh Truck, a mobile market that travels to neighborhood locations weekly.
From Thanksgiving turkeys to holiday gifts, this annual tradition seeks to alleviate family stress and bring kids joy at the holidays. Each year families in our community are invited to participate based on need.
Through monthly educational and community building events, we further engage parents and partners in the Camp Harbor View community. Past events include a financial wellness fair, training on special education and mental health, family night at the Children’s Museum and more.
