In the framework of Camp Harbor View’s philosophy, which puts fun first – simple fun, with boating, arts, athletics, music, aquatics – deep empathy and acceptance lead the way to discovery. The structure of physical and group challenges, of healthy competition, profound connection with peers, and rewards for leadership qualities, liberates the potential of young campers.
Camp Harbor View models and instills the core values of fun, respect, responsibility, character, courage, and community. It’s important that every camper has the ability to experience a wide variety of activities that will allow him or her to learn and grow. That’s why campers are encouraged to make their own choices, discover their passions and be themselves while having fun. In addition to classic summer camp activities such as swimming, biking, soccer, baseball, arts and crafts, basketball and tennis, each camper also experiences a wide variety of activities designed to build confidence, encourage creativity, broaden horizons, and help develop the leadership skills they need during school and life beyond.
As a Camp Harbor View camper, your days will consist of a mixture and balance of all the activities we offer, with time each day to explore the ones you enjoy most. The #1 rule at Camp Harbor View is to HAVE FUN!

Summer Camp Programs
Leadership skills mean different things for different people. We believe there is a leader in everyone. Camp Harbor View has a wide variety of activities built to give you confidence, discover new passions and skills you might not have realized yet, and show you how you can be a leader in your life.
Knowledge is Power
Camp Harbor View is all about having fun; that is the number one rule. We incorporate experiential learning into our program to introduce campers to cool new things. We offer many different activities to get you thinking about science, health and fitness, literary arts, and math and physics in interesting and enjoyable ways. Knowledge Is Power is about having fun learning things that you can use beyond summer camp — at home, at school and in your future.
The Camp Harbor View Arts program is so much more than the usual arts and crafts. In addition to visual arts, kids at CHV enjoy activities from all areas of the arts including dance, music, performing arts and culinary arts. Come to Camp Harbor View and you’ll see campers mixing fruit smoothies in the Great Hall, dancing on the deck, singing at the amphitheater, and designing murals on the sidewalk. We’ll encourage your creativity and introduce you to new and different ways to express yourself through art.
Whether you are interested in learning to swim or can swim like a fish, we have an extensive aquatics program that everyone can enjoy. To name just a few of the favorite camper aquatics activities — we have fishing, sailing, kayaking, and swimming in our 75 by 45 foot swimming pool and more. Explore aquatics activities just for fun, or learn how to compete in races and water sports. Either way, you’ll love looking back at the Boston skyline from our 450 foot pier, watching the boats sail by on the ocean and feeling the sand under your feet on the beach!
Sports & Fitness
We’ve covered all the bases here at Camp Harbor View, offering a wide variety of sports and fitness activities to all of our campers. There’s lacrosse, football, biking, soccer, baseball, softball, yoga, golf, skateboarding, basketball and many more. You’ll surely find an activity you enjoy at CHV, and we’ll introduce you to some new things, too!
