Jaylen Fonfield

Jaylen Fonfield serves as a program coordinator for the 11th grade cohort of CHV’s Leader in Training program. Working with young people, one-to-one and as a collective group, Jaylen builds and executes the grade-level curriculum preparing teens for their senior year of high school and post-secondary plans. He also has experience as a member of Camp Harbor View’s summer staff, both facilitating the rock climbing wall on island and supporting off-island field trips and career explorations for the LIT program.

Prior to joining the CHV team full time, he worked as a City Year member through AmeriCorps, where he supported 6th and 7thgrade math and science classes, provide extra support for students, and track progress to ensure their success in the classroom.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from UMass Amherst.
