CHV Parent Coffeehouse
This is an opportunity for parents to connect, talk, learn and relax with some good food and good company! Food and childcare are provided.
Super Foods Cooking Program
The Super Foods Cooking Program is a nutrition education and grocery assistance program for parents. The program meets once per month. The goal of the program is to educate parents on how to integrate healthy cooking practices at home with their families in a fun way. We will also talk about where to access resources for healthy foods in Boston. In addition, parents will learn about the physical and emotional health benefits of specific “superfoods” each week while they make healthy recipes. At the end of each workshop, parents will leave with a recipe card for each dish they make, educational materials about the food, and produce to take home and try with their families. Those parents who attend each month will earn a $25 grocery store gift card to purchase any additional ingredients they will need to make the healthy recipes at home with their families.
Thriving Families Workshop Series

The Parent Workshops include guest speakers and activities that focus on health, education, advocacy, and much more! RSVP is required in advance. Childcare, dinner, and coffee are always provided! Topics will be announced every month. Please check out the calendar for upcoming workshops.
