Wrap-Around Support

When families are healthy and supported, young people thrive. At Camp Harbor View, our holistic approach to youth development furthers positive economic, environmental, and social outcomes. Our targeted interventions include guaranteed income, food support, and resource coordination to address foundational household needs and build wellbeing for all. CHV’s Family Services are based upon program enrollment with comprehensive year-round opportunities focused toward Leadership Academy families.

Family Flex Fund

Our Family Flex Fund is a resource for families with a young person enrolled in the Leadership Academy (RISE or LIT) who are experiencing urgent unmet needs or an emergency. Eligible families may receive up to $3,000 of assistance per calendar year. All requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Resource Coordination

From physical and financial to emotional and environmental, wellness is multi-dimensional. CHV is committed to supporting food, housing, and other essential needs through direct services and community referrals.

Family Day

Experience the magic of the Harbor Islands as a family! Each summer CHV campers have the opportunity to bring parents and siblings to visit our island for a weekend event that builds a stronger community and sparks joy.

Food Access

All youth participants receive three meals-a-day at Summer Camp. Throughout the year, teens have access to snacks and meals after school and Leadership Academy families are eligible for additional year-round food support.

Parent Events

Parent engagement events focus on the holistic wellbeing of parents in our Leadership Academy. Events are a time for parents to have fun, learn something new, and connect with each other. Past topics include budgeting, teen mental health, paint night, yoga and more.

Summer Camp family engagement

Pathway to CHV programs start at camp! Camp families are invited to participate in our flagship summer event – Family Day. For additional information, visit our Resource Hub or contact a member of the Family Services team.

Leadership Academy family support

Families with students enrolled in CHV’s year-round program are eligible for economic stability and mobility programs including guaranteed income, Family Flex Fund, parent events, and food access.
