Participant Eligibility
All teens actively enrolled in our year-round Leadership Academy programs are eligible for group and individual therapy with our Clinical Team. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to offer counseling services for program alumni, siblings, parents, or other community members. For camper wellness support, please visit our summer camp program details.
Innovating the therapy experience
At the Leadership Academy, therapy embraces personalization rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Innovative exercises breathe new life into therapy, empowering young individuals to navigate their emotions and behaviors while developing into confident, productive, and compassionate people. Clinicians engage with participants through diverse methods and settings, whether that involves creative expression through art or meaningful discussions during a game of chess.
It is critical that we continue to ensure that young people have access to mental health supports, and we are proud that we offer these services at Camp Harbor View.
We all work together. We all care about each other. CHV will support me through anything.
Taking an individualized approach
The CHV Clinical team uses a multi-tiered system of support to meet young leaders’ mental health needs and social emotional development with varied and individualized interventions. Engaging in a strength-based approach, clinicians work directly with teens to identify and set goals, build trust, and reach milestones.
