The Camp Harbor View Scholarship

kids on college day

All LITs are eligible and encouraged to apply in their third year of the program for the CHV Scholarship — offering up to $10,000 per year for four years of post-secondary education. CHV also offers a bridge stipend to provide financial support for additional expenses related to college or trades program enrollment. In order to qualify for scholarship funding, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in the LIT program at Camp Harbor View, attending and engaging regularly
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5; or GED equivalent
  • Show acceptance and enrollment in a full-time accredited post-secondary educational degree program. Two-year, four-year, technical, trade, and gap-year programs will be considered.
  • Successfully complete the application and submit all required documents

The self-confidence and sense of community I built at Camp Harbor View were crucial to helping me acclimate into the college setting. And the opportunity to apply for the CHV scholarship helped get me to where I am today.
