Mikayla Konopka joined Camp Harbor View’s Youth and Family Support Team in the Summer of 2021 as a full-time Clinician.
Mikayla began her journey with Camp Harbor View as the Master of Social Work Clinical Intern during the 2020-2021 academic year. In this role, she worked with students individually, developing therapeutic interventions, and facilitated parent groups.
Mikayla is an empathetic, compassionate, and self-aware Social Worker who uses evidence-based practices to engage young people in clinical services. She enjoys providing a supportive and healing environment to best aid students in attaining their self-identified and meaningful therapeutic goals.
Mikayla graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Social Work, minoring in Human Behaviors and Social Services. She also received a Master of Social Work from Boston College.
