DeVaughn Cooper, MBA
Leader in Training Youth Worker
DeVaughn Cooper is one of two Youth Workers for the Leader in Training Program at Camp Harbor View. DeVaughn oversees 40 youth in the eleventh grade cohort of the program. Building on the curriculum of the tenth grade year, DeVaughn helps the youth in his cohort hone in on a clear post-secondary pathway and supports them in creating a concrete plan they can implement in their twelfth grade year.
DeVaughn seeks to assist youth who need support transitioning into college, persisting beyond hurdles, and understanding how to be successful in a changing world. As a young professional with experience working with diverse youth and young adult populations, DeVaughn is proud to work in a role that allows him the opportunity to support the youth of the community he grew up in.
DeVaughn holds both a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in business administration from American International College.
