With a focus on the whole person, CHV clinicians foster mental health every step of the way through weekly programs and workshops for all teens along with small group and individual therapy sessions.

Camp Harbor View’s clinical support is unique. Here’s why:

  • 100% free of charge. No insurance. No fee for services.
  • No time limits or diagnostic requirements.
  • Youth-driven conversations in flexible settings to best meet the needs of teens.

It’s important to me that young people and families have access to brave spaces and a community that cares deeply about them.

Building resilient young people

Working with teens throughout the year, the Leadership Academy structure allows for consistent and continuous support. Social emotional learning (SEL) is woven into the curriculum to ensure all participants develop essential skills to interact with others, manage emotions and behaviors, and grow into confident, productive, and empathetic individuals.

Taking an individualized approach

The CHV Wellness and Clinical team uses a multi-tiered system of support to meet young leaders’ mental health needs and social emotional development with varied and individualized interventions. Engaging in a strength-based approach, clinicians work directly with teens to identify and set goals, build trust, and reach milestones.

Summer Support

Participant Eligibility

All teens actively enrolled in our year-round Leadership Academy programs are eligible for group and individual therapy with our Wellness & Clinical Team. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to offer counseling services for program alumni, siblings, parents, or other community members.
